The interior of this reversible kimono is sewn together with a super soft vintage light green Super Mario Bros. themed print with repeating Marios. The exterior is sewn together with burlap coffee sacks from my friends at Joshua Tree Coffee Company. The burlap was first dyed black before the sewing process began. I had four bottles of Rit dye just lying around. So I decided to use it. The burlap is a perfect substrate for dying. It soaks it right up. You can wear this reversible kimono two different ways. All you have to do is flip it inside out. Two kimonos in one.

I bought the super Mario brothers print in the garment district in Los Angeles. It was my first time visiting that district. So many cool stores to check out.
