EMBROIDERED OVERSIZED COUTURE PIZZA CLUTCH

This is a one-of-a-kind handmade, fully embroidered, oversized couture pizza clutch. Lightweight, flexible and durable! The substrate I used for this piece was gessoed canvas. It gives the clutch a lot of structure and rigidity. This was one of the hardest pieces I have ever made. It pushed my machine to the limit. Very difficult to maneuver and sew because of the size. The technique I used to create the texture actually slowly destroys the machine. Due to the extreme tension and speed I am sewing at. However, it creates a beautiful sauce-e and cheese-e look: similar to a real pizza.
