I try really hard to not let any material go to waste. I have been wanting to create a patchwork piece for a long time. I decided that this kimono was the project to make that happen. The projects goal was to use up as much denim in my possession. Reversible patchwork denim kimono. The interior of the kimono is patch-worked together using a vintage red, white and blue striped bed sheet; along with some leftover Super Mario Bros. fabric. The exterior is entirely patch-worked together from my denim collection. You can wear this reversible kimono two different ways. All you have to do is flip it inside out. Two kimonos in one.
