REVERSIBLE BLACK BURLAP AND GEOMETRIC PRINT KIMONO
I made this reversible kimono out of a vintage cotton geometric themed print and burlap coffee sacks from my friends at Joshua Tree Coffee Company. The burlap was first dyed black before the sewing process began. I had four bottles of Rit dye just lying around. So I decided to use it. The burlap is a perfect substrate for dying. It soaks it right up. You can wear this reversible kimono two different ways. All you have to do is flip it inside out. Two kimonos in one.
